For the members of this forum who have posted positive comments on this subject and others, Please accept my heart-felt thanks for your kind words and support... For those members who have a history of flaming people (like Zski), on this forum, all I can say to you is that I feel sorry for you.
Zski posted photos of his "ride", and while tempted to criticize his car, I refuse to stoop to his level.
Especially for Zski: People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones... The community has nothing to gain by engaging in "Flaming Wars", in fact, engaging in that type of activity drives people away, and discredits the community on a whole. Here's a suggestion:
Instead of creating anomosity within the community, why don't you post something of value? There are plenty of Z owners on this forum, that request assistance in understanding the technical aspects of this marque. The modifications I committed to on my Z are admitantly not everyone's cup of tea.
So what?
I have specific goals in mind with what I personally want to accomplish, its not like I'm asking for anyone's resources.
If you're so close-minded about how someone else modified their own car, well your problem is obvious...You can't be taught, and you will never learn...
By the way, that's how dinosaur's became extinct. Are you sure you want to be "classified" like that? Just about anyone with enough resources can restore a 300ZX, there's nothing difficult or unique in undertaking a task like that.
If that's what you're into, fine, I won't knock that.
If you enjoy your stock appearing ride, fine, that's your own thing and your own business. Again, what I've done with my ride is my business, if you don't care for how it looks, so what? Again, it's not everyone's cup of tea...
